BMBAA holds 9th AGM, EC election

The 9th annual general meeting (AGM) of Bangladesh MBA Association (BMBAA) at IBA Alumni Club in the city recently, according to a statement.

The AGM was followed by the election of central executive committee.

Nazmul Hasan Papon MBA, MP, has been re-elected as President and Sheikh Abul Hashem re-elected as General Secretary in the election and several other business personalities and corporate leaders are the members and office bearers.

The speakers of the programme were President of Bangladesh MBA Association Nazmul Hasan Papon MBA, MP, Director IBA, University of Dhaka Saiful Majid and Chairman of PHP Group Sufi Mizanur Rahman.

Bangladesh MBA Association (BMBAA) is the oldest registered association of MBA-degree holders of Bangladesh. This was formed in 1986 by some of the senior most Bangladeshi MBA graduates from IBA of University of Dhaka, IBA of University of Karachi, Harvard Business School of Harvard University, Wharton Business School of University of Pennsylvania, Stanford Graduate School of Stanford University and similar other institutions.

BMBAA remains committed to its mission of forming a strong professional body of MBA Graduates in Bangladesh with the twin objectives of providing professional development to its members, as well as advocacy on national policies to engage the business community and the relevant government bodies, the release added.
