BRAC Bank appoints Asif Bin Idris as DMD

BRAC Bank appointed Md. Asif Bin Idris as deputy managing director (DMD) and head of corporate, commercial & institutional banking, effective from December 30, 2025.

He will also serve as a member of the bank's management committee, according to a press release.
With over 22 years of banking experience, Asif brings strong expertise in strategic leadership, portfolio management, and business transformation.
Prior to joining BRAC Bank, he served as senior executive vice president and head of commercial banking at Prime Bank.
He also held key roles at HSBC and Eastern Bank, contributing significantly to business growth and client development.
Commenting on the appointment, Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, managing director & CEO of BRAC Bank, said, "Asif's deep sector knowledge and proven leadership will be instrumental in strengthening our corporate, commercial, and institutional banking segments.
