On the day, the premier bourse featured a turnover of above Tk 9.65 billion amid moderate correction observed in broad index.
BRAC Bank topped the turnover chart featuring a value of above Tk 294.20 million. The company grabbed 3.05 per cent of the market turnover.
The company's share price declined 0.91 per cent or Tk 0.7 to close at Tk 75.80 each on Monday.
Olympic Industries featured a turnover of above Tk 230.9 million and grabbed 2.39 per cent of the turnover featured by the DSE. The company's share price closed at Tk 244.10 each with a rise of 4.25 per cent or Tk 10.60.
BBS Cables featured a turnover of above Tk 219.80 million and grabbed 2.28 per cent of the market turnover. The company's share rice declined 1.65 per cent or Tk 1.80 to close at Tk 106.90 each.
Singer Bangladesh posted a turnover of above Tk 207.10 million and grabbed 2.14 per cent of the turnover featured by the DSE. The company's share price rose 2.34 per cent or Tk 5.30 to close at Tk 230.70 each on Monday.
Beximco snared 2.08 per cent of the market turnover after featuring a value of Tk 201.3 million. The company's share price declined 2.30 per cent or Tk 0.60 to close at Tk 25.30 each.
Alif Manufacturing Company grabbed 2.06 per cent of the market turnover after featuring a turnover worth above Tk 198.8 million. The company's share price closed at Tk 12.10 each with a rise of 10 per cent or Tk 1.10.
Of other turnover leaders, Dragon Sweater and Spinning featured a turnover of above Tk 189 million, Grameenphone Tk 177.4 million, Bd. Thai Aluminium Tk 168.10 million, and Paramount Textile Tk 156.9 million.
