BRAC Bank partners with VeloxPays to facilitate app-based remittance

BRAC Bank has partnered with VeloxPays Pty Ltd, a new remittance service provider, to deliver a convenient app-based remittance experience for wage earners in Bangladesh.

Regulated by the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC), VeloxPays offers a secure and user-friendly platform that allows customers to send money back home.

With seamless API integration, remittances from VeloxPays to BRAC Bank will now be fully automated, real-time, and secure. This partnership enables expatriate Bangladeshis residing in Australia to send their hard-earned remittances easily and securely to BRAC Bank account holders.

Shahrear Zamil, Head of Remittance and Probashi Banking at BRAC Bank, and Md Riaj Uddin, Founder and CEO of VeloxPays, signed the agreement at the bank's Head Office in Dhaka recently, says a press statement.

This development is part of BRAC Bank's broader strategy to expand its global remittance footprint, enhance customer convenience, and provide efficient, secure, and timely financial services to the Bangladeshi diaspora worldwide.
