BRAC Bank has promoted M. Masud Rana FCA, currently serving as deputy managing director and chief financial officer, to the position of additional managing director (AMD) of the bank, effective August 1, 2025.
Masud Rana joined BRAC Bank in October 2019 and has since been instrumental in driving financial strategy, governance, and operational excellence, according to a press statement.
With more than 29 years of professional experience spanning public accounting, textile, pharmaceutical, and banking sectors, he has emerged as a key figure in the bank's journey of innovation, sustainability, and inclusiveness.
Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, BRAC Bank's managing director and CEO (current charge), along with the entire team, congratulated Rana on his promotion, stating: "We are confident that in his new role as AMD, Rana will continue to contribute meaningfully to our mission of becoming the most trusted, innovative and inclusive bank in Bangladesh."
