BRAC Bank has promoted more than 1,600 employees in recognition of their outstanding performance and contribution to the bank's continued growth.

The promotions, granted across all grades, reflect the bank's emphasis on nurturing internal talent and developing future leaders. The bank said its sustained business expansion over the years has been driven by the dedication and performance of its workforce.

To mark the occasion, the bank organised a ceremony in Dhaka on April 1, where Chairperson Meheriar M. Hasan, Managing Director and CEO Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Human Resources Officer Monzula Morshed, along with senior management team members, congratulated the promoted officials.

Speaking at the event, Managing Director and CEO Tareq Refat Ullah Khan highlighted the importance of human resources in the bank's success, describing employees as its "principal capital" that drives business and balance sheet growth. He added that the bank remains committed to investing in employee development while recognising performance and potential.

He noted that promotions at the bank signify not only recognition but also increased responsibility and leadership opportunities, expressing confidence that the promoted employees would contribute further to the bank's growth in their new roles.

The bank said the large-scale promotion initiative underscores its commitment to fostering a performance-driven culture that supports both individual advancement and organisational success.
