BRAC BANK SIGNS REFINANCING AGREEMENTS WITH BB TO EXPAND MSME FINANCING

BRAC Bank has signed two agreements with Bangladesh Bank (BB) to improve to affordable financing for cottage, micro, small, and medium enterprises (CMSMEs). The agreements include Tk 30 billion Cluster Finance Refinance Scheme and the Tk 15 billion Financial Sector Fund for the development of MSMEs. Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, managing director & CEO, BRAC Bank, exchanged the deal documents with Nawshad Mustafa, director, SME & special programmes department, BB, at a ceremony at BB on May 18 in presence of Nurun Nahar, deputy governor, BB.
