Brac Bank tops turnover chart (2018-03-08)

Ten top-traded companies accounted for more than 22 per cent of transactions on the country's major bourse on Wednesday with Brac Bank topped the list.

Brokers said the investors were active on buying and selling of Brac Bank shares throughout the trading session ahead of year-end earnings and dividend declaration of the bank.

According to statistics available with the DSE, about 1.41 million shares of Brac Bank were traded, generating a turnover of Tk 129 million, which was 3.18 per cent of the total transactions.
