BRAC partners with SME Foundation for the Development of SMEs

BRAC has partnered with the SME Foundation to support the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Bangladesh. Deputy Managing Director of SME Foundation Md. Nazim Hasan Sattar and Senior Director of BRAC Arinjoy Dhar signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard at the SME Foundation's office in Dhaka on Monday. Under the MoU, BRAC and the SME Foundation will work on several initiatives including creating a CMSME entrepreneur database, financial inclusion, development of women entrepreneurs, product market linkages, SME cluster development and support for climate change-affected Entrepreneurs. The signing ceremony was attended by Md. Musfiqur Rahman, Chairperson of the SME Foundation, Managing Director Anwar Hossain Chowdhury, General Managers Mohammad Jahangir Hossain and Md. Abdus Salam Sardar, as well as BRAC's Associate Director Amit Kanti Sarker.
