Ceramic issues see major correction

The ceramic sector witnessed the highest price correction in last week.

According to a market review of International Leasing Securities, the sector comprising five companies declined 5.60 per cent in five sessions of last week.

During the week, the sector featured a turnover of above Tk 190.20 million and grabbed 6.60 per cent of weekly market turnover.

Of the companies, the prices of two ones declined 20.50 per cent, while the prices of remaining three rose up to 39.67 per cent in last week.

The prices of all companies, however, rose on Thursday ranging from 0.30 per cent to 15.10 per cent.
