China University team visits BARI

A delegation from the College of International Education, Northwest A&F University (NWAFU), China, visited Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) on Wednesday.

BARI scientists and officers welcomed the China delegation. BARI Director General Dr. Md. Abdullah Yousuf Akhond gave a welcome address at the DG's conference room. Senior Scientific Officer (Director General's office) Dr. Md. Bazlur Rahman gave a brief presentation of BARI. At this time, BARI Director (Research) Dr. Munshi Rashid Ahmad; Director (Training and communication) Dr. Md. Ataur Rahman; Director (Planning & Evaluation) Dr. Md. Abdur Rashid; Director (Horticulture Research Centre) Dr. Faruque Ahmed; and Kang Jile, Vice Dean, College of International Education, NWAFU; Huang Luwen, Vice Dean, College of Information Engineering, NWAFU; Wang Hongmei, Vice Dean, College of Economics and Management, NWAFU; Prof. An Xiaopeng, College of Animal Science and Technology, NWAFU; Prof. Fan Lichao, College of Natural Resources and Environment, NWAFU, were present. Later, the delegation visited various laboratories and research field in BARI and expressed their satisfaction over the activities and achievements of the Institute.
