CIS-BCCI President Habib Ullah Dawn seen at the 4th annual general meeting of Commonwealth of Independent States-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CIS-BCCI) at GuIshan Club in the city recently while Md. Lokman Hossain Akash, Senior Vice President of the Chamber and Mohammad Ali Deen, Vice President, were present The 4th annual general meeting (AGM) of Commonwealth of Independent States-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CIS-BCCI) was held at GuIshan Club in the city recently, according to a statement.
CIS-BCCI President Habib Ullah Dawn briefed the chamber's activities in the past year and explained the future plan. He also presented the annual report for the year 2017.
Md. Lokman Hossain Akash, Senior Vice President of the Chamber, presented the financial report of the chamber for the year 2017.
The general members were present in the AGM and actively participated in the discussion on the annual report and audited financial reports and finally approved it unanimously.
The meeting ended with a vote of thanks from the Vice President of the chamber Mohammad Ali Deen.
CIS-BCCI is the registered trade body under T.O Rules of Ministry of Commerce that is working to promote bilateral trade relation, between Bangladesh and the CIS countries.
“In our government's efforts to product diversification as well as market diversification, CIS-BCCI is advocating for terming Russia and CIS markets as the 3rd front of Bangladesh export destination”, the statement added.
