CITIZENS BANK HOLDS 5TH AGM

The 5th annual general meeting (AGM) of Citizens Bank was held on Sunday at the head office of Citizens Bank in Dhaka. The meeting was presided over by Chowdhury Mohammed Hanif Shoeb, chairman, board of directors of the bank. Masuduzzaman, Mukhlesur Rahman, and SM Shofiqul Hoq attended among the directors along with NKA Mobin and AKM Shahidul Haque-independent directors. Alamgir Hossain, managing director of the bank, was also present. The bank's operating profit rose by 21 per cent, deposits grew by 30 per cent, and advances grew by 34 per cent year-on-year in 2025. The bank also maintained a 0.20 per cent exceptionally low non-performing loan (NPL) ratio.
