City Bank and WorldFish sign agreement

Financial literacy and Access to Finance is one of the main challenges hindering overall sectoral growth of aquaculture sector in Bangladesh, said a statement.

To minimize this challenge SME-Small & Microfinance Business of City Bank and USAID funded 'Feed the Future Bangladesh Aquaculture & Nutrition Activity' implemented by WorldFish, have signed an agreement to promote financial literacy and access to finance through different loan products for Aquaculture stakeholders of Bangladesh.

The loan will help the stakeholders to run their business smoothly while the financial literacy will help them to increase the efficiency of the business. This project will be implemented in Jashore, Khulna, Barishal, Kustia and Faridpur districts of Bangladesh.
