CLOSING CEREMONY OF SREUP PROJECT

Bangladesh Bank hosted the closing ceremony of the 'Programme to Support Safety Retrofits and Environmental Upgrades in the Bangladeshi Ready-Made Garments (RMG) Sector (SREUP)' on Wednesday. The event celebrated SREUP's remarkable achievements in promoting sustainable practices and improving safety standards within Bangladesh's RMG industry, a pillar of the national economy. Dr Ahsan H. Mansur, Governor of Bangladesh Bank, delivered the keynote address as the chief guest. Kazi Rafiqul Hassan, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, delivered the welcome address while Mahbob Sadi Bhuiyan, Joint Director of SREUP's Project Management Unit (PMU) at Bangladesh Bank, gave a presentation on 'SREUP's Impactful Journey: Success Stories'. Nazma Mobarek, Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division, also spoke.
