Correction 2025-06-18

We mistakenly published Abul Khair Group's logo in a news item in Tuesday's paper of The Financial Express (FE) on page 9 with the title "Abul Khayer, associates fined again over unlawful trading in Crystal Insurance".

We would like to clarify that "Abul Khair Group" has no affiliation or involvement with "Abul Khayer" or any of his misdeeds reported in the published item.

We have already removed the logo from the online version of the news item and e-paper to avoid misunderstanding among our valued readers and stakeholders.

The inadvertent mistake is regretted.

Meanwhile, in a rejoinder sent by Abul Khair Group to The FE, the conglomerate said, "Our organisation operates with the highest standards of legal and ethical compliance across all sectors we engage in".
