CRAB gets new MD & CEO

Md Abu Shahed Shams Azad has been appointed as the Managing Director & CEO of the Credit Rating Agency of Bangladesh Limited (CRAB), effective from February 9, says a statement.

Mr Azad, who obtained his MBA degree from IBA, University of Dhaka, has more than 20 years of professional experience across diverse industries. His career began at BAT Bangladesh, a leading multinational company in the country.

He also had vast experience in the microfinance sector, having served as the COO of BRAC Microfinance, one of the globally largest microfinance service providers.
