CSE holds meeting to increase turnover

The management of Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) held a meeting with their TREC (Trading Right Entitlement Certificate) holders on Thursday to discuss different issues including possible way of increasing turnover value.
The meeting was held at Dhaka office of the port city bourse, according to a statement.
At the meeting, the participants discussed development of capital market within the regulatory framework, introduction of new products, more utilisation of existing products, increasing the number of TREC holders' branch office, enhancement of retail trades, training of authorised representatives and development of current market situation.
They also discussed about possible ways of increasing the exchange's turnover.
CSE Managing Director Shaifur Rahman Mazumdar and Deputy General Manager Md. Ghulam Faruque were present at the meeting.
