Dhaka Bank Visa cardholders have won the first Mega Prize (Euro Tour) worth Tk 1 million, along with three additional mega prizes: an electronics gift voucher worth Tk 500,000, a Jewellery gift voucher worth Tk 300,000, and a smartphone gift voucher worth Tk 100,000. These prizes were part of the top five awarded by VISA in the 'Spend and Win Campaign 2024'. Eligible customers were selected based on the highest transaction amounts among 20 million Visa cards -- including debit, prepaid, and credit cards -- issued by all participating banks in Bangladesh. Sabbir Ahmed, Country Manager of VISA Bangladesh, announced and handed the prizes to A.K.M. Shahnawaj, Acting Managing Director of Dhaka Bank PLC, at the bank's Head office in Dhaka on Wednesday. Md. Mostaque Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Emerging Market Officer of Dhaka Bank, H.M. Mostafizur Rahaman, EVP & Head of Retail Business Division of Dhaka Bank, and Ashish Chakraborty, Director of Business Development, VISA Bangladesh, were also present.
