Mahbubur Rahman, Chairman, Eastland Insurance seen at the Company's Annual Conference held at Dhaka on Saturday. Member of the Board ASM Quasem, Executive Vice Chairman Ghulam Rahman and Chief Executive Officer Arun Kumar Saha are also seen. The Annual Conference of Eastland Insurance Company Limited was held on Saturday in the city.
Mahbubur Rahman, Chairman of the Company inaugurated the Conference. Member of the Board Mr. A.S.M. Quasem was also present in the Conference, said a statement.
The Chairman expressed gratitude to the Almighty Allah whose blessings helped the Company reach its long cherished goal of achieving business target beyond Tk. 1.0 billion worth premium which did happen due to sincere and collective efforts of executives and employees under the active guidance of the Management.
The Chairman asserted there lies enough scope for expansion of business of the Company and gave necessary directives to the management to formulate policies in order to compete with its peers.
He also called upon senior executives and In-charges of branches to train and motivate officials working under them to actively participate in business mobilisation to develop their respective career.
The Chairman distributed incentives to the eligible executives and other personnel. Director Mr. A.S.M. Quasem also addressed the participants. He appreciated the shining performances of the employees towards achieving business targets and stressed the need for expansion of business through inclusion of clients from upcoming projects specially in power project and other emerging sectors.
Mr. Ghulam Rahman, Executive Vice Chairman and Mr. Arun Kumar Saha, Managing Director & CEO also spoke on the occasion.
