FSIBL sponsors FameLab science contest

First Security Islami Bank Limited (FSIBL) has sponsored the 'FameLab Science Communication Competition' organised by the British Council in the city. FameLab is the world's leading science communication competition. It is designed to inspire, motivate and develop scientists and engineers to actively engage with the public and stakeholders. To this end, an agreement was signed between the bank and the British Council. Syed Waseque Md. Ali, Managing Director, First Security Islami Bank, and Barbara Wickham, Director, British Council, were present at the signing ceremony. Among others, Shahazada Basunia, Head of Public Affairs and Brand Division, First Security Islami Bank, and Sarwat Masuda Reza, Head of Cultural Centre, British Council, were also present. Interested participants can register for the competition until March 12. The winner of Bangladesh session will join the final competition at the United Kingdom to be held from June 4 to 10.
