Govt to appoint maintenance contractor thru open tender

The government has approved a proposal, in principle, for appointment of operations and maintenance contractor for the Installation of Single Point Mooring (SPM) through open tender method (OTM) instead of G2G basis, reports BSS.

The approval was given in a meeting of the Advisers' Council Committee on Economic Affairs (ACCEA) held at the Cabinet Division conference room at Bangladesh Secretariat on Thursday, with Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed in the chair.

Cabinet Division officials said that the Energy and Mineral Resources Division placed the proposal.
