ICMAB delegation meets Meghna Group Chairman

A high-profile delegation from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB), led by its President Mahtab Uddin Ahmed, met with Mostafa Kamal, Chairman and Managing Director of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), at his corporate office on Wednesday, says a statement. During the meeting, the ICMAB delegation shared insights into the institute's recent initiatives and discussed strategic matters concerning the advancement of the Cost and Management Accounting (CMA) profession in Bangladesh. They also emphasised the importance of corporate support in promoting financial transparency and sustainable business practices through CMA expertise. Mostafa Kamal lauded the significant contributions of CMAs to the nation's economic development and expressed his firm commitment to supporting efforts aimed at strengthening the profession. Among the distinguished members present were ICMAB Vice President Md. Kausar Alam FCMA, Past Presidents Mohammed Salim and Arif Khan, and Executive Director Md Mahbub-Ul-Alam were present at the meeting.
