ICMAB holds Accounting educators' conference

Speakers in a recent conference organised by The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) emphasized the need for greater co-operation of academicians and the practitioners to narrow down the gap between the theory and the real-world management accounting practice, said a statement.

ICMAB arranged the day-long "Accounting Educators' Conference" on the theme "Recent developments in the

field of Management Accounting and Corporate Reporting" at ICMAB premisein Dhaka recently.

Mr. Shubhashish Bose, Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, Government of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh inaugurated the programme as Chief Guest. Mr. A K M Delwer Hussain FCMA, Chairman, Bangladesh Sugar and Food Industries Corporation and past president of the Institute attended the programme as special guest.
