IFIL holds training event

Islamic Finance and Investment Limited (IFIL) organised a daylong training program on "Anti-Money Laundering & Combating Financing of Terrorism" on Saturday. The training program was held at the capital's IDEB Bhaban where Mr. Md. Eskandar Miah, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank & Deputy Head of Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU), was present as the Chief Guest. Mr. Anwar Hossain Chowdhury, Chairman of the Board of Directors of IFIL, was present at the programme as Special Guest. Mr. Abu Zafore Md. Saleh, Managing Director & CEO of IFIL presided over the programme. Mr. Mohammad Mahbub Alam, Deputy General Manager, BFIU, Bangladesh Bank and Mr. Md. Khairul Anam, Joint Director, BFIU, Bangladesh Bank, presented the keynote lectures at the programme. Employees of all level of head office and branches of Dhaka City and adjacent area attended the program directly while branches of outside areas attended through Skype.
