ISLAMI BANK, MASTERCARD LAUNCH DIGITAL PAYMENT ECOSYSTEM AT CU

Islami Bank Bangladesh in collaboration with Mastercard inaugurated fully cashless services at Chattogram University (CU) under Bangladesh Bank's "Cashless Bangladesh" initiative. The transformation will enable teachers, students and visitors to conduct cashless transactions around the campus. Professor Dr. Muhammad Yeahia Akther, vice chancellor of Chittagong University, was present as the chief guest. Rafeza Akter Kanta, director of the Payment Systems Department of Bangladesh Bank, presided over the event. Jubaer Hossen, head of Retail & commerce of MasterCard, along with executives and officials of the Bangladesh Bank, university professors, employees and students as well as senior officials of Islami Bank and MasterCard were present at the event.
