JANATA EXCHANGE COMPANY SETS UP AGENT POINTS IN ITALY

Janata Exchange Company (JEC) SRL, Italy, a subsidiary of Janata Bank PLC, has established agent points in Italy to facilitate remittance transfers. The agent point operation was inaugurated on an online platform on Monday. Ambassador of Bangladesh to Italy A.T.M. Rokebul Haque was present as the guest of honour and Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division Nazma Moberak as the chief guest. Janata Bank's Chairman Md Fazlur Rahman, Economic Counsellor of the Bangladesh Embassy in Italy and Director of JEC Md Al Amin and JEC Director Giovanni Imbergamo were present as special guests. Janata Bank's MD and Chairman of JEC Md Mazibur Rahman presided over the event.
