Khaleduzzaman promoted to DMD at Krishi Bank

Prominent banker Mohd Khaleduzzaman has been promoted to Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB).

A circular regarding his promotion was issued by the Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance on Thursday, says a statement.

Prior to this promotion, he served as General Manager at Bangladesh Krishi Bank.

Mr Khaleduzzaman began his professional career in 2001 as a senior officer at the Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC). He held various key positions within the organisation, including Regional Manager of Dinajpur and Faridpur regions, Zonal Manager (Divisional Head) of Dhaka & Mymensingh divisions, Head of Audit and Recovery Department at the Head Office.

He joined Bangladesh Krishi Bank as General Manager on March 22, 2021. During his time, he held several vital roles, including General Manager of Faridpur & Dhaka Divisions and also carried out additional duties as the Principal of BKB Staff College.

He completed B.Sc. (Hons.) in Soil Science in 1992 and M.Sc. in 1993 from University of Dhaka.
