LHB contributes Tk 22.5m to Labour Welfare Fund

LafargeHolcim Bangladesh PLC (LHB) has contributed approximately Tk 22.5 million to the Bangladesh Labour Welfare Foundation Fund, under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, reaffirming its commitment to the well-being of workers. The contribution was made in compliance with the provisions of the Bangladesh Labour Act 2006. On behalf of LHB, AKM Atiqur Rahman, Human Resources Director, and Neel Savio Azavedo, Business Development Director, formally handed over the cheque to Brig Gen (Retd.) Dr. M. Sakhawat Hussain, Adviser to the Ministry of Labour and Employment, on Tuesday.
