MERCANTILE BANK HOLDS GREEN FINANCING WORKSHOP

Mercantile Bank organised a workshop on "Sustainable and green financing in banking sector" at its training institute on May 24. Respective officials from 39 branches attended the workshop. Mati Ul Hasan, managing director of the bank, inaugurated the programme. In his address Mr. Hasan highlighted the importance of sustainable finance and green banking. He advised participants to strictly adhere to the sustainable finance and green banking policy & guidelines of the central bank. Md. Zakir Hossain, DMD & CRO, and Tapash Chandra Paul, PhD, CFO, participated at the inaugural session, among others.
