Mir Mofazzul Hossain has recently joined Ansar-VDP Unnayan Bank as Managing Director.
He has been promoted and appointed as the Managing Director of Ansar-VDP Unnayan Bank in a notification issued by the Department of Financial Institutions, State-Owned Commercial Bank Section-01.
Prior to his promotion, he served as Deputy Managing Director at Sonali Bank PLC. He started his career as a senior officer by joining in Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation and held important positions over the times.
He was promoted to the post of General Manager in 2018 and Deputy Managing Director in 2021.
He served with reputation and efficiency in Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation,Palli Sanchay Bank, Bangladesh Krishi Bankand Sonali Bank PLC.
Mir Mofazzal Hossain was born in a noble Muslim family in Palash Upazila of Narsingdi District. He hass completed his BA (Honours) and MA in Economics in Jahangirnagar University and LLB in National University. He has attended various trainings on banking.
