Mirza Azhar joins Bank Asia as DMD

Mirza Azhar Ahmad has joined Bank Asia PLC as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) & Chief Operating Officer recently, says a press release.

Mr. Ahmad started his career with Standard Chartered Bank in 1999 and served there till 2022. Afterwards, he joined ONE Bank PLC as Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Operation in February 2022.

He has more than two decades of banking experience. His area of expertise covers Branch Operations, Card Operations, Centralized Clearing Unit, Cash Management Operations, ATM Operations, Centralized Service Delivery, Retail Loan Administration, Treasury Back Office, etc.

Mr. Ahmad pursued his graduation and post graduation in International Relations from the University of Dhaka with excellent academic results.
