MTB FOUNDATION MARKS WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

MTB Foundation recently inaugurated a water access hub and sanitation facility to mark World Environment Day 2025, with this year's theme - 'Ending Plastic Pollution'. Under the project, 'Jol Torongo' for the vulnerable community of Char Alexander, Lakshmipur district, the water access hub is expected to modernise the community's access to clean and safe water and sanitation facilities, both of which are the region's long-standing problems. Samia Chowdhury, chief executive officer, and Golam Rabbani, associate, MTB Foundation, were present at the event.
