Mutual Trust Bank (MTB) recently arranged Branch Manager (BM) and Branch Anti Money Laundering Compliance Officer Conference to raise awareness about policies against money laundering and financing of terrorism. More than 120 participants were present in-person while 250 participants attended virtually an event organised last month. Executives from the banks corporate head office were present at the hybrid conference. A. K. M. Ehsan, head (acting) of Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit, attended the event as chief guest, while Syed Mahbubur Rahman, managing director, MTB, was the host of the day-long event.
