MTB MARKS ENVIRONMENT DAY WITH ENERGY AWARENESS WEEK, WORKSHOP

Mutual Trust Bank (MTB) launched its World Environment Day 2025 celebration with a workshop on "Renewable Energy in Bangladesh: Policy Framework, Technological Innovation & Financing Opportunities." Syed Mahbubur Rahman, managing director & CEO of MTB, inaugurated the event, emphasising the critical role of financial institutions in tackling climate change. Senior officials from the Bangladesh Bank attended the event and shared insights on sustainable finance. Following the workshop, MTB observed a week-long Energy Awareness Week from May 27 to June 2 across all branches, promoting energy efficiency, responsible consumption, and sustainable workplace practices among employees.
