On the eve of the International MSME Day 2025, MTB unveiled an enriched version of MTB Avatar bot to serve SME customers. The bank earlier launched this bot to offer products and banking services. Now, it can help customers with SME features, such as SME loans, deposits, LC, BG, and refinancing schemes offered by the Bangladesh Bank, etc. It is an intelligent bot designed to guide users and interact with customers by listening and engaging in conversations on various topics. Nawshad Mustafa, director of SME & SPD of the Bangladesh Bank, graced the event as chief guest. Chowdhury Akhtar Asif, MTB's managing director (acting), presided over the event.
