Nagad, a popular mobile financial service provider under the Bangladesh Postal Department, is offering a cash bonus to customers receiving remittances sent home by Bangladeshi expatriates living abroad.
To become eligible for a cash bonus of Tk 100, excluding the 2.5 per cent government incentive, a customer needs to receive a minimum of Tk 10,000 in remittance in their Nagad wallets, says a statement.
The bonus will be posted to a customer's Nagad account within one working day of his or her remittance receipt.
The cash-back campaign, which started on September 24, will remain valid until October 31.
A customer with an active and full-profile Nagad account will only be eligible for this campaign.
Family members of expatriate workers no longer need to wait for working days to receive remittances as Nagad's remittance services are available 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. So, anyone from any corner of the world can promptly send home remittances.
