Nasir Uddin re-elected as CSE director

Md Nasir Uddin Chowdhury has been re-elected as a director of Chittagong Stock Exchange PLC (CSE), says a press statement.

According to the Companies Act, one director's position is scheduled to fall vacant at CSE's upcoming Annual General Meeting on December 11.

An election process was launched for filling the vacant post. As no other nominations were submitted by the deadline as set iunder the election process, Mr. Nasir Uddin Chowdhury has been elected unopposed as a shareholder-director.

Mr. Chowdhury is the Managing Director of LankaBangla Securities Ltd.

The Election Committee headed by its Chairman A.K.M. Mohsen Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury made this announcement. The other members of the committee are Md. Shawkat Ali Talukder and Dr. Md. Khorhshed Alam Talukder.
