National Bank holds annual general meeting

The 40th and 41st Annual General Meetings (AGM) of National Bank Limited were held at a city convention centre on Wednesday. The meeting was presided over by Abdul Awal Mintoo, Chairman and Sponsor Director of the bank. Also present were Moazzam Hossain, Vice Chairman and Sponsor Director; Zakaria Taher, Chairman of the Risk Management Committee and Director; Muklesur Rahman, Chairman of the Executive Committee and Independent Director; Md Abdus Satter Sarkar, Chairman of the Audit Committee and Independent Director; Md Zulkar Nayn, Independent Director; Prof Dr Melita Mehjabeen, Independent Director; and Sheikh Akhter Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director (Current Charge). It was decided that the new name will be "National Bank PLC" instead of "National Bank Limited."
