NCC Bank holds annual business conference

The two-day annual business conference of the executives and branch managers of NCC Bank Ltd was held at Grand Sultan Tea Resort & Golf in Sreemangal. Chairman of the bank Md Abul Bashar inaugurated the conference as the chief guest, with Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid in the chair.

The two-day annual business conference of executives and branch managers of NCC Bank Ltd was held at Grand Sultan Tea Resort & Golf in Sreemangal, in order to find ways to boost the bank's business by rendering better customer services.

Chairman of the bank Md Abul Bashar inaugurated the conference as the chief guest, said a press release received here on Sunday.

NCC Bank's Managing Director & CEO Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid presided over the conference, while the bank's Vice Chairman Sohela Hossain, former chairman and Chairman of the Executive Committee S. M. Abu Mohsin, Director and former chairman Amjadul Ferdous Chowdhury, Director and former vice-chairman Khairul Alam Chaklader, and Director Mohammed Sazzad Un Newaz graced the occasion as special guests.

Besides, additional managing directors Khondoker Nayeemul Kabir and M. Shamsul Arefin, and deputy managing directors Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan, Md. Mahbub Alam, M. Asheq Rahman and Md. Zakir Anam were present on the occasion.

Chairman of the bank Md. Abul Bashar in his inaugural speech congratulated everyone on achieving business goals even in the stagnant economic condition last year.

The scope of business of the bank is expanding rapidly so the quality of service should be maintained at the highest standard, he said.

Managing Director Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid highlighted the improvements in various financial indicators and said that last year even in a severe dollar crisis and global economic recession, the volume of loans and advances, investment, total asset, remittance, and recovery have increased.

On the other hand, cost of funds and NPL are on a decreasing trend, he said.
