NCC Bank Training Institute has arranged a five-day training programme on "Foreign Exchange & Finance of Foreign Trade" for the officers of different branches.
A total of 31 officers participated at the programme in the capital recently, said a statement.
Khondoker Nayeemul Kabir, Deputy Managing Director of NCC Bank, inaugurated the programme as chief guest while Deputy Managing Director A Z M Saleh was also present on the occasion as special guest.
Principal of the training institute Jagadish Chandra Debnath conducted the training programme.
In his inaugural speech, DMD Khondoker Nayeemul Kabir emphasised on exploring and expanding foreign exchange business by maintaining regular contacts with the importers and exporters in the present competitive scenario.
He called upon the participants to groom them up as professional banker utilising the knowledge properly that they would attain through the course regarding rules, standard practice, managing risks and compliance while discharging the responsibilities of foreign exchange and finance of foreign trade in their respective work places.
