Shafiqul Islam
Md Shafiqul Islam has been promoted to the executive director of Bangladesh Bank (BB) recently.
Prior to the promotion, Shafiqul Islam was the general manager of the central bank, according to a statement.
He was graduated in Finance and completed his Master's degree from Dhaka University. He joined Bangladesh Bank in 1988 as an assistant director. In his long career, he discharged his duties in various capacities.
