BM Yousuf Ali Md Imam Shahin
BM Yousuf Ali, Managing Director of Popular Life Insurance Company Limited, and Md Imam Shahin, Managing Director and CEO of Asia Insurance Limited, were elected as the president and secretary general of Bangladesh Insurance Forum (BIF), respectively, according to a statement.
The elected 17-member forum will work for the year 2020-2021 for the development of insurance industry.
Other office bearers are: vice president Farzana Chowdhury and Md Hemayet Ullah, joint secretary general Md Abdul Khaleq Mia and Bishwajit Kumar Mondol, finance secretary Jamal Mohammad Abu Naser, organising secretary AKM Shariful Islam and Md Mosharraf Hossain, office secretary Md Anwar Hossain and executive members PK Roy, Brigadier General (Retd) Shafiq Shamim, Md Jamirul Islam, Mohammadi Khanam, AKM Sarwar Jahan Jamil, Md Shamsul Alam and NC Rudra.
