BRAC Bank to provide custodial services to CWT AMC

CWT Asset Management Company Ltd and BRAC Bank Ltd. signed a custodial agreement for the mutual fund "CWT Emerging Bangladesh First Growth Fund". Under this agreement, BRAC Bank will be providing custodial services to CWT Asset Management Company Ltd for the operation of the mutual fund. Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, head of BRAC Bank's corporate banking, and Tareq Ibrahim, Chief Executive Officer, CWT Asset Management Company Ltd. signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations. Fahim Ishtiaque Hossain, Head of Custodial Services of Brack Bank; Moniza Choudhury, Managing Director of CWT Asset Management Ltd. and other Senior officials of the two organisations were present on the occasion. — Statement

MetLife named in Forbes' inaugural Blockchain 50 list

MetLife has been named in Forbes' inaugural Blockchain 50 List, the first-ever ranking of the top 50 organisations that are leading the pack in regard to adapting decentralized ledgers to their business. In addition to Singapore, MetLife has also established a robust innovation programme in Bangladesh. MetLife Bangladesh has recently launched a project titled "Misir Guru" to help educate and raise awareness of insurance among the people of Bangladesh.
