Citi South Asia Cluster Head visits Bangladesh

Citi India CEO and Citi South Asia Cluster Head Ashu Khullar visited Bangladesh recently. During his visit, Mr. Khullar met clients, key stakeholders and community partners. He highlighted the potential of sustainable long-term economic growth of the country. He also emphasised on the significance of the Bangladesh economy to the global market. "For over three decades, Citi has been a proud partner of Bangladesh's economic development. We are also pleased to be a part of the country's development through our Citizenship efforts. This visit served as an opportunity for me to meet with businesses and learn firsthand about what we can do more to support their growing aspirations. We look forward to continuing our journey here in Bangladesh and enabling growth and economic progress through our innovation and global solutions," said Mr. Khullar. Mr. Khullar started his journey with Citi India in 1988 and since then, has worked across a number of management roles across Citi. He was last Head of Citi's Capital Markets Origination (CMO) business for Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong. Until September 2017, he was based in London.

CSE seminar on small cap cos platform on Sept 12

A seminar on "Small Capital Companies Platform", arranged by Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) will be held on Thursday at CSE Conference Hall, Agrabad, Chittagong. Mr. Mohammed Nazrul Islam, Deputy Director of BSEC, will present the keynote paper at the seminar. He will highlight the BSEC (Qualified Investor Offer by Small Capital Companies) Rules, 2018.— FE Desk
