Mohiuddin gets Best Taxpayer Award

ASM Mohiuddin Monem, Deputy Managing Director of Abdul Monem Ltd. and Chairman of ServicEngine Ltd., has been honoured with the Best Taxpayer Award for 2018-19. This is the sixth consecutive year he won the award. Mr. Monem praised this initiative taken by the government and he has also encouraged everyone to submit both individual and institutional tax returns to support the government to increase the tax revenue that will lead the country to further development. He believes in the positive change taking place in the country and expects that the Tax-GDP ratio will reach a standard level in the coming years. Mr. Monem, listed as World's Greatest Leader 2018-19 by URS-Asia One Magazine, is also recognised as a commercially important person (CIP). — Statement

S Asia Investor Confce held

LankaBangla Securities Limited has participated in the South Asia Investor Conference (SAIC) 2019 held in Singapore recently. Over 15 foreign institutional investors (FIIs) joined the event organised jointly by LankaBangla Securities Ltd. and regional partners Capital Alliance Securities Ltd. and AKD Securities. Form Bangladesh, five corporate and financial institutions took part in the event and had interactions with FIIs, which helped understand the business of respected companies by FIIs. Prominent economists and capital market professionals from different South Asian countries shared their views and prospects of economies of the region. — Statement

CAPM declares unit fund NAV

CAPM Company Limited has declared the Net Asset Value (NAV) of CAPM Unit Fund. The total NAV of CAPM Unit Fund stood at Tk 132,554,604.16 on the basis of cost price and Tk 120,342,000.47 on the basis of market price at the close of the operations on November 14. The NAV per unit at cost price and market price of the fund are Tk 103.41 and Tk 93.88 respectively against face value of Tk 100 per unit. Per unit Subscription and Surrender prices of the CAPM Unit Fund have been re-fixed at Tk 93.88 and Tk 92.38 respectively. The prices will remain valid from November 17. — Statement
