CRISL rates Eastland Ins 'AA+'

Credit Rating Information and Services Limited (CRISL) has announced the CPA (Claim Paying Ability) Rating of Eastland Insurance Company Ltd. as "AA+" along with a stable outlook in consideration of audited financials of the company up to December 31, 2017 also unaudited financials up to June 30, 2018 and other relevant quantitative as well as qualitative information up to the date of rating declaration.

Janata Ins in 'B' category

Janata Insurance Company Ltd. will be placed in 'B' category from existing 'Z' category with effect from today (Wednesday) as the company reported disbursement of 5.0 per cent stock dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2017.
