PABL relocates office
Professional Advancement Bangladesh Ltd. (PABL), a subsidiary of Green Delta Insurance Company (GDIC) arranged a launching ceremony of its new premises at Gulshan 1 recently. Mr. Keith Richards (MD & CEO of Engagement & Personal Finance Society, CII UK) alongside of Mr. Nasir A. Chowdhury (Advisor & Founding MD of Green Delta Insurance) inaugurated the new office and training center. Mr. Keith Richards appreciated its role in producing professionally trained insurers in Bangladesh in partnership of CII UK. Ms. Farzanah Chowdhury, Chartered Insurer (MD & CEO of Green Delta Insurance) was also present at the inaugural ceremony.

IIA Bangladesh seminar on audit capacity in public sector banks
IIA Bangladesh (Institute of Internal Auditors, Bangladesh) organised a CPE seminar on "Internal Audit Capacity in Public Sector in general and State-Owned Commercial Banks" at Audit Bhaban, Kakrail in the city. Md. Monowar Hossain, Head of Internal Control & Compliance and Cyber Audit, Agrani Bank Limited and Adil Iftekhar, General Manager, Internal Audit & Investigation, Managing Director Division, Grameenphone Ltd jointly conducted the seminar. Mr. Adil discussed about Internal Audit Capacity in Public Sector in general while Mr.Monowar concentrated on Internal Audit Capacity in State-Owned Commercial Banks Comptroller and Auditor General Mr. Muhammad Muslim Chowdhury, IIA Bangladesh President Mr. K Atique e Rabbani, Secretary General, M Nurul Alam, Vice President Mr. Mohammad Iqbal Hossain, Mr. Nanda Dulal Saha, Treasurer and Mr. Amitava Saha, Chair Training and Professional Development of Committee of IIAB were present along with IIA Bangladesh members from various sectors including public sectors and state-owned commercial banks.
