Kabir Hossain re-elected chairperson of Sonar Bangla Ins

Sheikh Kabir Hossain has been re-elected chairperson of Sonar Bangla Insurance Ltd. and Md Motaleb Hossain elected vice-chairperson of the company. The Board of Directors of the company at its 123rd meeting unanimously elected both of them recently. Sheikh Kabir Hossain is also the President of Bangladesh Insurance Association (BIA); and Chairman, Bangladesh Private University Association. He is also the Chairman of CDBL & National Tea Company. He is the Managing Director of his own business organisation M/s. Kabico Ltd. The newly elected Vice Chairperson, Md Motaleb Hossain, is a renowned industrialist and the Managing Director of MH Jute Mills Limited. — Statement

SIBL signs deal with Asgar Ali Hospital

Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) signed a corporate agreement with Asgar Ali Hospital on Monday. Kazi Towhidul Alam, Additional Managing Director of SIBL, and Kabir Uddin Tusher, Senior General Manager (Marketing and Business Development) of Asgar Ali Hospital, signed the agreement. Under this agreement, debit and credit card holders of SIBL and the employees of SIBL and their family members can enjoy special discount facilities at the Asgar Ali Hospital.
