CSE-50 index revised
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) has revised its CSE-50 index on the basis of the performance of the listed companies. The new index will be effective from September 08, 2019. The new companies which have been included in CSE-50 index are British American Tobacco Bangladesh Company and The Acme Laboratories. On the other hand, R.A.K. Ceramics (Bangladesh) and Delta Life Insuranrance were excluded from the previous list. The port city bourse revises its CSE-50 index twice a year. — FE Report

New president of IIAB
Mohammed Iqbal Hossain was elected president, Board of Governors of the Institute of Internal Auditors Bangladesh (IIAB) for 2019-2020. Currently he is working as Controller General Defence Finance, Ministry of Defence. Prior to this position he worked as the Senior Deputy Comptroller and Auditor General at Audit Bhaban, Dhaka. A member of Bangladesh Civil Service (Audit and Accounts), 1985 batch, The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) is an international professional association with global headquarters in Lake Mary, Florida, USA.
